Refund & Return Policy

1. Overview

At The Generic Company, we take pride in offering high-quality, made-to-order products through our print-on-demand partners. Because each item is produced specifically for you upon order, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for reasons such as buyer’s remorse, incorrect sizing, or color preference. However, we are committed to customer satisfaction, and we will gladly replace or refund items that arrive damaged, defective, or are significantly different from what was ordered.

This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or replacements may be issued, and your responsibilities as a customer when making a return request.

2. Made-to-Order Products and Final Sale Items

All items sold through our website are custom printed and fulfilled by third-party partners. As such, all sales are final unless the product is faulty, misprinted, or arrives in a damaged condition. Please double-check your order details (including size, color, and shipping address) before finalizing your purchase, as changes cannot be made once your order enters production.

We do not accept returns for the following:

  • Incorrect size ordered

  • Customer error in address entry

  • Change of mind after order submission

  • Dislike of color, fabric, or design based on expectations
     

To assist with sizing decisions, we provide accurate product measurements on each product page.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a product that is misprinted, damaged, defective, or significantly different from the item you ordered, you are eligible for a refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.
 

To initiate a claim, please email us at info@weargeneric.com within 7 days of receiving your item. Include:

  • Your order number

  • A detailed description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging (including damage, if any)
     

We will evaluate the evidence provided and determine whether the issue qualifies for a refund or replacement. If approved, we will either reprint and reship your item or issue a refund to your original method of payment.

4. Lost or Missing Orders

If your tracking information shows that your order has not moved for more than 10 business days, or if your package is marked as “Delivered” but you did not receive it, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate the matter with our fulfillment partner and shipping carrier.

Please note that we are not liable for packages lost or stolen after a confirmed delivery. However, we will do our best to assist with filing a carrier claim and may, at our discretion, offer a replacement.

 

5. Wrong Items Received

In the rare event that you receive the wrong item (e.g., different design, wrong size, or color), we will resolve the issue by sending a replacement at no cost to you. Please report any such error to us within 7 days of delivery and include your order number, photos of the incorrect item, and a description of what was ordered.

 

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5 to 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account. We will notify you by email once your refund has been processed.

We do not offer store credit or refunds to alternative payment methods. If the refund is rejected by your bank or card provider, we are not responsible for delays or errors caused by third-party financial institutions.

 

7. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of placement if they have not yet entered production. Once an order has been sent to our print-on-demand partner for fulfillment, it cannot be modified or canceled.
 

If you believe you’ve made an error in your order, please contact us immediately at info@weargeneric.com, and we’ll do our best to help.

8. Return Instructions (If Applicable)

If we request that you return a product (in rare cases), you will be provided with a return authorization and specific return address. Do not send any items back to us without explicit instructions, as this may result in processing delays or refusal of the package.

The returned item must be:

  • Unused and in its original condition

  • Shipped within 10 days of approval

  • Properly packaged to prevent damage during transit
     

Shipping costs for authorized returns will be covered by us unless otherwise stated.
 

9. Exchanges

Because all of our products are made to order, we do not offer exchanges for different sizes, styles, or colors. If you would like to reorder an item in a different variation, please place a new order once your original issue is resolved.
